With the Ishgar peninsula in a state of emergency, the Magic Council sends out a large-scale request to the Guilds in Fiore to help release everyone from DICE's control. Entrusted with a "Dice Lacrima" the player goes on an adventure with Natsu, Lucy and their friends to save the afflicted mages, earning rewards and new party members along the way.
