Vector Parallax: Convergence of the Vast is a science fiction strategy card game centered on customizable decks and three distinct playable classes: Starforged Arcanist, Nebula Broodmind, and Ion Corsair. Players construct decks and equip up to three passive abilities to shape their approach to combat, drawing on protective barriers and repair, living swarms and adaptation, or velocity and disruptive force. Players take the role of Corebearers, who harness power through contact with the Vast—higher-dimensional lifeforms intersecting their reality. Each class follows an inherited tradition that shapes both its combat abilities and its understanding of that power, placing battles within a setting of rival cultures and conflicting beliefs.

Handlung

The First Stewards learned to survive contact with the Vast—higher-dimensional lifeforms intersecting human reality—and harness their power through Cores. Each believed their discovery was unique. Passed from mentor to apprentice, their effective but incomplete understanding became the foundation of generations of customs, laws, and rival Doctrines. The Starforged Arcanists, Nebula Broodminds, and Ion Corsairs inherit both extraordinary abilities and the certainty that their tradition alone correctly understands them. Their Corebearers struggle to protect their communities, interpreting unfamiliar practices as dangerous violations of truths their own experience seems to confirm. Each culture preserves genuine wisdom, yet their conflicts arise from mistaking a fragment of reality for the whole.
