Beschreibung
Project: Esper is a traditional roguelike built around keeping the late game interesting. Items, creatures, and magic are procedurally generated whole-cloth rather than drawn from fixed lists, producing mechanics that change from run to run. The strongest effects only work under specific conditions, and enemies use the same system, actively working to keep their own effects active. Creatures and the player are fully simulated through the same rules, allowing effects like permanently dominating monsters, cloning them, and polymorphing creatures into items. Built on turn-based, grid-based combat with permadeath, the game is currently in Alpha and planned for Early Access.
